Every villa has its own private pool — fully screened with no overlooking. Villa Diamant features an 8×5 m infinity pool with an integrated 4-person jacuzzi, massage jets, a paddling area, and a slide. Villa Saphir has a 12×3 m lap pool with a waterfall feature and a hot tub that can double as a paddling pool. Villas Opale and Jade each have an 8×3 m pool — Opale with a suspended swing over the water, Jade with a semi-shaded pool. None of the pools faces a neighbouring property: your space is entirely private.
Pool heating is available as a paid add-on for villa Diamant only (on request at the time of booking). For villas Saphir, Opale, and Jade, the pools are unheated.
For larger groups, exclusive use of all four villas is available on request — villa Diamant and villa Saphir have connecting doors, as do villa Opale and villa Jade.
The Ethic Village Djerba villas are in Tezdaine, in the municipality of Midoun, at the centre of the island. Midoun is known for its traditional architecture and weekly market, and is listed by the Tunisian National Tourism Office (ONTT). It offers a quiet setting less than 10 minutes from the sea. Sidi Yati beach is about 6 minutes by car. The Troujette mosque is a 5-minute walk; the Khalid Ibn Al Walid mosque is 10 minutes on foot.
Each villa is fully self-contained and privately rented — no shared access with other guests. The environment is alcohol-free, with no mixed-gender communal areas. That is what “halal-friendly” means in practice here: a space where Muslim families can relax without compromise. The wider Ethic Village Djerba estate is managed with the same values.
Djerba gets reliable sunshine from May through October, with the peak in July and August. The pool is comfortable to use from June to September. May, June, and September offer a good balance of pleasant temperatures and fewer crowds.
