The island is calm, safe, and offers a peaceful living environment far from big city hustle. No noise, no traffic, no distractions — just you, your work and the Mediterranean. We are located in Tezdaine, a sought-after district of Midoun (Tezdaine means “the palm trees” in Berber), away from tourist areas yet 10 minutes by car from beaches, supermarkets and restaurants.
Your Workspace
Each villa has unlimited fibre Wi-Fi, tested and reliable. You can work from the covered terrace, the air-conditioned living room or the garden — depending on your mood and the season. In case of a power cut on the island (it can happen in Tunisia), our generator takes over within seconds. Your connection almost never drops, and your client calls stay live.
For long stays, our villas are equipped like a real home: full kitchen, washing machine, iron, storage space. You are at home, not in a hotel room. Diamant and Saphir have a dedicated desk area; Opale and Jade feature a bright, generous living room that adapts easily to a workstation setup.
Access from Europe
Djerba has direct flights from Paris, Lyon, Marseille, Brussels, Zurich, Geneva and London (seasonal). No visa needed for EU nationals for stays under 90 days. Airport transfer from Djerba-Zarzis takes 35 minutes — we can arrange it for you (at extra cost).
A Typical Day at Ethic Village Djerba
- 7:30am — Breakfast delivered to your villa via the pass-through hatch (included, premium version available at extra cost)
- 8am–12pm — Focused work from your terrace or air-conditioned living room
- 12:30pm — Lunch prepared by our cook (at extra cost, on request)
- 1–2pm — Private pool break, no overlooking — nobody watching
- 2–5pm — Second work session, mint tea on the terrace
- 5:30pm — Sidi Yati beach 6 minutes by car, or bike ride through the olive groves
- 8pm — Dinner on the terrace (at extra cost), sunset over the garden

Our rates are discounted for stays of 28 nights and more, in low and mid-season (November to May):

Ethic Village Djerba is a gated residence under CCTV. Our caretaker lives on site with his family, 24/7. Your vehicle is parked in a covered, secure carport. You can work with a clear mind, leave your equipment in the villa during excursions, and focus on your mission.
For occasional medical needs, healthcare is accessible on site: Midoun and Houmt Souk have private clinics and well-stocked pharmacies. We will gladly point you to the right addresses if needed.
